SUMMARY

Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of beverage stations and equipment in accordance with property standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Cleans beverage areas in restaurant and casino bar stations.
2. Provides and replenishes beverage stock and supplies.
3. Removes empty bottles and trash.
4. Prepares necessary fruit for use as garnishes.
5. Receives, issues and keeps necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
6. Serves as back up for bartenders when necessary.
7. Promotes outstanding guest services on a continual basis.
8. Participates as a team member with bartenders, utilities, servers, supervisors and all other pertinent employees in ensuring an efficient operation.
9. Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
10.  Assists and covers breaks for bartender when applicable.
11.  Replenishes ice as needed.
12.  Anticipates needs of bartenders and guests.
13.  Follows all responsible alcohol service guidelines to help assist with guests’ responsible consumption.
14.  Sweeps and mops bar and beverage service areas when requested.
15.  All other duties as assigned.

REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Food & Beverage Supervisor and then the Food & Beverage Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times. 
• The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner. 
• The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations

• Proven experience providing high level of guest service
• The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide
• The ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English

• The availability to work all shifts.
• The ability to work in a fast–paced environment and stressful situations.
• Must be at least 21 years old. 
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• The ability to verify the right to work in the United States. 

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in a similar capacity preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, sit, climb, balance, carry and lift to 50 lbs. Constant use of hearing, speech, vision (including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus), radios, and tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
