What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Time Lighting Auditor/Occasional Daytime mapping position at Century Commercial Services?
Century Commercial Service is a Family-Owned Company that has been in business for over 40 Years. We are a unique company that has a great foothold in our marketplace as the Premier Service Provider for Lighting, Electrical, Plumbing & Mechanical Services for Commercial Properties. We pride ourselves on our High Level of Customer Service to not only our customers but to our Co-Workers as well. Our Customer Base is mostly with Commercial Property Managers and Owners; mainly in the Industrial, Retail, Office, and Multi-Family sectors. We currently service and maintain over 3,500 commercial properties on a monthly basis throughout Northern California and our Company has been consistently expanding over the last 15 years. In total, Century employs approx. 200 Team Members and has a Service Fleet of over 100 Vehicles.
We are looking to add to our Nighttime Lighting Auditing Team as well mapper for the San Jose and surrounding areas. The objective of this position is to survey these contracted commercial properties and report any lighting outages found on site. We provide several tools in order to properly report these outages; a company laptop, a digital site map of lighting fixtures, Wi-Fi & GPS tracker application. These inspections must be done during the nighttime hours, with the mapping during the day. This is a part-time position that pays through hourly wages along with mileage pay (Mile Driven Reimbursement). We also offer a Recognition program, which allows for monetary rewards for doing a job well done.
This position is not designed to be a sole source of income type job for an individual and unfortunately does not have opportunities to transition into a full-time position. This is a great position for someone who is looking for a way to make some extra money while working just a few hours per night/evening during the week/weekend with their own personal vehicle.
