What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Project Manager position at Century Complete?
What You’ll Do:
The Assistant Project Manager handles various projects in Purchasing, Permitting, Contracts, and New Home starts.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
Set up new vendors and vendor files in coordination with Purchasing Manager.
Research vendor payment aging issues.
Process invoices for payment as needed.
Enter and maintain all documents in the vendor database (BuildPro), including plans, sublists, community information, and documentation.
Track and process all regional notices of completions, certificates of occupancies, milestone/inspection reporting, closing walk throughs and sign-offs in a timely manner.
Work with the corporate office to process weekly payment reports.
Respond to calls and emails from production and subcontractors regarding contracts, plans, and questions.
Complete all established paperwork, reports, and files following the company format and timeframes.
Present a professional image following company appearance standards.
Maintain a high level of ethics and integrity in all dealings.
Maintain a personal time management system to facilitate organization and efficiency.
Attend and pass all required training management and technical programs.
Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
Maintain and operate in various software applications on a day-to-day basis.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
What You Have:
The ability to work cohesively and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong computer skills and spreadsheets experience.
Previous Knowledge of Purchasing, Contracts, and Permitting.
Team player, motivated, task-oriented, adaptable, problem solver, attention to detail, quick learner.
An upbeat and can-do personality with a passion for the new homebuilding industry.
Your Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
3 years of related experience, preferably in the homebuilding industry.
Experience or familiarity with applying for building permits is a plus.
Experience with NewStar, BuildPro, or SupplyPro is a plus.
