Germantown General Dental practice is seeking a seasoned, professional Patient Care Coordinator to flourish in a well established and growing private practice, providing quality dental care services to our amazing patients. The Ideal candidate will have prior experience fulfilling aspects of dental administrative duties, in addition to familiarity with the clinical side. Valued qualities include excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a positive, upbeat personality; self motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Providing excellent service to keep our patients happy
- Verifying patient's medical and dental benefits, coverage, and eligibility
- Scheduling patient appointments with necessary follow-up
- Presenting treatment plans and financial information
- Collecting co-pays at the time of visit, in addition to any other relevant fees
- Being our liaison with insurance carriers to manage claims
- Along with the rest of the team, take part in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the office
- Follow-up with labs and other vendors for cases and supply orders
- Maintain accurate records of billings, claims, and communications
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Work experience as a front desk administrator in a dental office
- Experience with Windows based computer tasks such as email, website submissions and similar
- Office skills such as scanning, printing, operating a fax machine
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
