Fabrication Welder
Div. 99 Duluth, GA
Summary
Responsible for laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring, and welding metals to create the desired product; inspect and test welds and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Machining fabrication materials and components.
- Fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures.
- Cutting and welding with a variety of processes.
- Metal forming, bending, and finishing.
- Repair, design, layout, and estimation.
- Overseeing shop hands or helpers.
Education and/or Experience
Technical School or High School Diploma, and 2 years experience or a combination of education and experience. Certification preferred.
Additional Requirements
Pre-employment drug screen; overtime may be required.
