Join our premier golf facility featuring 27 holes of championship golf designed by Jack Nicklaus II. Our courses blend seamlessly with picturesque ponds, wooded areas, and preserve lands, offering unique challenges for every golfer. Our 58,000-square-foot clubhouse boasts an extensive fitness center, racquetball courts, along with diverse dining options ranging from casual grill fare to gourmet experiences and banquet services. Additionally, our Swim & Racquet Club features an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and a café, creating a well-rounded environment for our members.

Position Summary
The 1st Assistant Golf Professional plays a key role in ensuring a high-quality, service-oriented experience for members and guests. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional and General Manager, this position requires strong leadership, customer service, and operational management skills to oversee daily golf operations efficiently.
Experience & Qualifications
While prior experience in the following areas is preferred, we provide training and support to ensure success:
- PGA Member (preferred)
- Proficiency in Golf Genius tournament software
- Experience at high-volume golf facilities (preferred)
- Merchandising experience
- Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Background in private, or semi-private golf course operations
- Teaching & Club Fitting experience
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day golf operations and supervise front-line staff.
- Assist in managing tournament operations for member events and outside outings.
- Monitor and enhance guest experience to ensure top-tier customer service.
- Manage golf shop merchandising, including product selection and inventory.
- Supervise staff handling daily cash receipts and accounts receivable.
- Train and develop Pro Shop and Outside Services staff.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as tee sheet management, POS system operations, and handicap tracking.
- Deliver high-quality golf instruction and club fitting services to members.
- Perform additional duties as needed under the direction of the Head Golf Professional and General Manager.
