As a Member-Only, Private 18 Hole Golf Course & Country Club, Spanish Hills Club provides the amenities, programs and activities designed to exceed our Members' expectations. The Club is located in Ventura County, Camarillo, California.
POSITION SUMMARY
The New Member Enrollment Director is responsible for all functions associated with new member enrollments for the Club and making sure all new members start enjoying their Club as soon as possible! As a key leader and senior staff team member, the New Member Enrollment Director will report directly to the General Manager of the Club with regional enrollment support from Century Golf Partners. The New Member Enrollment Director is responsible for meeting or surpassing monthly enrollment goals by developing leads through the current members of the club and other appropriate and creative lead sources. He/she is responsible for the implementation of prospective member campaigns; the development of all related enrollment material; as well as fun and engaging New Member and Prospective Member events. The New Member Enrollment Director will build effective relationships with all existing Members, causing them to invite their friends, neighbors and colleagues to join the Club. Within the Century culture we promote and celebrate positive attitudes, successful outcomes, and innovation!
To make a lasting impact, the New Member Enrollment Director will attend Club activities for the purpose of meeting and greeting potential Member sponsors, golf guests, tournament guests, social and dining guests and uncovering opportunities for potential members. The New Member Enrollment Director is responsible for creating, reviewing and analyzing monthly and quarterly reports pertaining to new member leads and enrollments. This position requires a strong desire to meet new people and build strong meaningful relationships with team members, current Club members, and potential members.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relative sales experience.
Previous sales experience with documentation of successful sales implementation. Previous private club experience is considered preferable.
Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with an assertive sales personality to meet sales goals. Computer experience with Word, Excel and Lead database programs minimum requirement.
Must have a professional appearance and manner, a gracious attitude and the ability to interact with diverse groups as well as the ability to build strong relationships with the Club Members.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
This position's schedule will vary according to business needs and will require some evening hours, weekends and holidays. This will vary depending on the Club's hours of operation and attendance at Member Events.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and implement strategies with GM and Regional Support to meet Club membership goals through the effective implementation of the Century Core Fundamentals and effective sales processes.
Process new Country Club Memberships and all required compliant documentation
Conduct tours for prospective members.
Develop prospective member functions.
Responsible for all current membership files, requests, upgrades, listings, and any other membership notices/requirements.
Has the discretion and authority to make decisions relating to membership and marketing for the Club in coordination with the General Manager.
Develop and implement procedures for processing prospective member applications.
Follow up on marketing efforts and member referrals.
Maintain and analyze member and marketing data.
Create marketing and membership reports on a regular basis.
Effectively respond to member comments in accordance with Club standards.
Develop and provide ideas, feedback, and suggestions to continuously improve the services provided to members.
Develop, monitor, and adhere to a membership and marketing budget.
Promote Club activities and cause members to entertain their friends at the club.
Track the success and overall performance of all membership and marketing activities.
Maintain response, attendance, and follow-up lists for all membership and marketing events.
Manage, through partnership with the Committee Chairman, the Club's welcoming Ambassador Committee.
Work collaboratively with Club Management, Boards, and Members.
Participate in Board and Committees meetings when required.
Ensures that membership is operated in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Position requires occasional travel.
MINIMUM TIME EXPECTATION
A regular weekly schedule Tuesday through Saturday
Sundays and Mondays are normal days off for this position
Some monthly evening hours will be required as the Member Enrollment Director will need to pre-load monthly dining and social evening events, as well as member appreciation events, with prospective members and attend the events for the purpose of creating and causing a referral environment in order to reach sales goals
