Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $120,000 per hour.

Job Responsibilities :
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function and implement best practices.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor performance against those budgets.
Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate provision of required documentation.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Active CPA License require.
4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with 2 years in public accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Dynamics, GP). Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel).
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting standards.
Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
