- Process and enter supplier invoices into the accounting system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, receipts, and coding while maintaining proper documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of payments, ensuring correct classification of expenses.
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in accounts payable or similar finance roles.
- Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (ERP system experience is a plus).
- Show strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
- Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- Apply strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for financial analysis.
- Maintain vendor records, ensuring tax compliance, 1099 processing, and adherence to financial regulations.
