- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results to budget and forecast, and provide insights on variances.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 3-6 years of progressive public and cooperate accounting experience, with exposure to various industries.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Effective organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well and positive manner.
