- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients.
- Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their tax-related inquiries and providing exceptional service.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, providing training and support to enhance their professional development.
- Assist with tax audits, including gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and representing clients before tax authorities.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax provision calculations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- In-depth understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
