Job description
We are looking for friendly and upbeat people to make our clients feel welcome and to ensure that every stay is a clean stay. What is the role of a Housekeeper? His/her responsibilities include cleaning both guest rooms and common areas, maintaining the tidiness of our hotel, and interacting with guests (on occasion). You will offer stellar customer service and provide memorable hospitality experiences for our guests. If you have previous hotel or commercial cleaning experience, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidates have a flair for communication, an ability to connect with our guests, and efficiency/accuracy when it comes to hotel cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining guest quarters to brand standards
- Ensure clients are properly greeted upon their arrival
- Actively listen to and resolve complaints
- Ensure special guests, like disabled people, elderly, children and VIPs, receive personalized services
- Establish friendly relationships with regular hotel clients
Skills
- Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
