This role is ideal for a dynamic sales leader who thrives in building and scaling teams, driving results, and creating strong relationships with clients and leadership alike. The VP of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping Call Box's sales strategy and ensuring the company's continued success in the automotive industry and beyond.
This position is based in Dallas, TX, and may require up to 50% travel.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, including detailed and accurate sales forecasting, with flexibility to adjust as needed.
- Set clear sales goals, track progress, and communicate updates to C-level executives.
- Recruit, manage, and develop high-performing sales teams, operations, and resources to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Partner with the Chief Revenue Officer, Chief People Officer, and Chief Financial Officer to design, revise, and communicate sales compensation plans.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business objectives, identifying needs, and participating in closing strategic opportunities.
- Establish infrastructure, systems, and processes that support the success of the sales organization.
- Compile and deliver monthly and quarterly reports to the executive team, using their feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to create and implement successful channel, partner, and support programs.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitive activity, providing strategic feedback to leadership and other departments.
- Develop and deliver ongoing sales training plans, partnering with subject matter experts to ensure team success.
- Establish and refine prospecting and sales processes, ensuring adoption and continuous improvement across regions.
- Maintain strategic relationships with Alpha dealers to test products, quotes, and participate in marketing events.
- Foster trust and alignment between the sales team and senior leadership, advocating for the team's needs and interests.
- Address customer pain points and challenges, equipping the sales team with strategies to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Define a discounting structure and implement a clear approval process for Account Executives and Managers.
- Lead escalations as needed to close deals, leveraging deep product expertise.
