What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Setup Technician position at Century Mold Co?
Job Responsibilities:
- Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time; ensures that the Attendance Policy is enforced consistently through subordinates.
- Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks.
- Setup and changeover machinery and equipment according to the priorities of the production schedule.
- Installation and removal of molds in injection presses.
- Setting of process parameters and process limit alarms.
- Must have processing experience.
- Setting of equipment safety features and low pressure mold protection.
- Connection of water, hydraulic and air lines.
- Connection and checking of any mold protection switches.
- Installation and removal of peripheral equipment (chutes, conveyors, etc.).
- Ensure that the required raw materials are staged in the workstation.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalency (G.E.D); or three to five years related processing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project; Ability to learn new software as needed.
