Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the VP/BSA Officer & Deposit Operations, the Deposit Operations Clerk provides general support to the Deposit Operations Department by performing daily tasks that contribute to the optimal delivery and performance of the bank's products and services in conformance with established Bank policies, procedures, strategies, and banking regulations. This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Role and Responsibilities
Debit Card Maintenance Processing and Review
Batch check mailing
Online banking and bill payment customer support
Assists with Inactive account review
Assists with Reg CC Check Hold Review
Review of Daily Maintenance Reports
Assists with Stop Payment Review and Maintenance
Research Request Processing, including account verification (Social Security/Medicaid/faxes)
Interest Rate Change Processing
Mailing of direct print notices
Wire Transfer Processing
Returned Mail Processing
Online/Telephone Customer and Branch Support (operational and electronic)
Voicemail Response
Verbal and written communication with customers.
Assists Deposit Operations Administrative Assistants as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned, within the scope of their authority and expertise, to provide support to all employees and customers of the Bank.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
The completion of a High School education or equivalent is required, as well as a minimum of 1 years' experience at a retail banking institution. Must possess excellent customer service and problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task. Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and be able to operate standard office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines.

Performance Standards
An Annual Review will be completed by the VP/BSA Officer & Deposit Operations.
Travel
Daily travel may be required to other locations. Employee must be able to work irregular schedules to meet the demands of the bank, which may include early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours. The Deposit Operations Clerk also may be required to represent or participate in company events and community related activities.
