The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for driving automation projects, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and aiding in the development of new products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, and increase production efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Lead automation projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing manufacturing systems.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes and layouts and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing environment.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for cost savings.
- Work with production teams to monitor and improve product quality, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Design and implement process modifications to improve productivity, reduce cycle time, and lower production costs.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive performance improvements across the plant.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Assist with equipment selection, installation, and troubleshooting to optimize manufacturing capabilities.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and production staff to ensure smooth execution of new processes or technologies.
