What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Quality Manager position at CEO Inc.?
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading quality assurance and quality control programs. This includes compliance with health & safety regulations, audits, quality assurance oversight, customer satisfaction, relationships with other areas, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee team of Quality Coordinators / Technicians
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements
- Maintain all quality programs and ensure they are kept up to date
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system, leveraging data and feedback to enhance processes and product quality
- Document standard work instructions for routine and repetitive tasks and provide to team members responsible for completing the tasks
- Conduct training for new hires and staff
- Work with all levels of management to maintain SQF certification
- Oversee CAPA / SCAR system
- Maintain a thorough understanding of each production process and products, including components and functions
- Assist in all necessary third-party audits and ensure that corrective action lists are communicated to the appropriate departments for review
- Complete all customer questionnaires, assist with customer audits and provide corrective actions
- Communicate with customers on complaints about products and work with other departments to form corrective action plans to prevent further occurrences
- Ensure appropriate budgetary / spending controls are in place and being applied
