We’re looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in hands-on environments. If you hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering and have a proven track record in manufacturing engineering, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Engineering Support: Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to improve processes and minimize waste, scrap, and downtime.
- Project Management: Participate in factory automation projects and process/equipment changes.
- Product Documentation: Generate and maintain product drawings and project documentation, ensuring standardization and control.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives to improve production layouts, methods, and material flow.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams on new product development and packaging design.
- Quality Control: Help establish and maintain quality control methods to ensure product excellence.
- Capacity Analysis: Conduct analysis on current operations and recommend new equipment as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering (preferred).
- Experience: 3 years in manufacturing engineering (new grads will not be considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 2D/3D CAD software; strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Hands-On: Ability and willingness to work on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot and improve processes.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent communication skills and a creative mindset for solving complex engineering challenges.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: A solid understanding of materials, component selection, prototyping, testing, and general manufacturing processes.
