Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician conducts troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance services to production equipment throughout the plant. This position will perform general building maintenance tasks as needed.

Maintenance Technician
- Hours: 1st or 2nd shift
- Pay: $28 - $35 / hr depending on experience
The Maintenance Technician conducts troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance services to production equipment throughout the plant. This position will perform general building maintenance tasks as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Observe equipment concerns and initiate corrective action/repair.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely repairs to equipment to ensure production schedules are met.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve machinery performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment conditions.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in production machine and equipment repair.
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems.
- Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and electrical systems is a plus.
- Basic use of computers for recording information.
