What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Sales Representative- Bioscience Products position at Cepham Life Sciences, Inc.?
POSITION SUMMARY :
We are a bioscience research product company, looking to hire a Sales Representative for sales & marketing, developing marketing objectives, strategies to promote the sales of company's products in the assigned territories. Role expectations include interactions with the customer on a daily basis, sales growth and all administrative tasks as assigned by the manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Present and sell company products and services to researchers in different laboratories in the assigned territories
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts on weekly basis
- Work closely with customers to identify new opportunities and close business
- Cold-call new and existing customers to expand the territory
- Follow up on new leads and referrals from online marketing and product shows
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
- Develop product knowledge and maintain the sales materials
- Establish and maintain good relationships with current and future customers
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including pre-call plans and reporting through Sales Force.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered from customer to the lab director
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close the sales
- Work with marketing to develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
- Develops and executes digital marketing strategies and tactics that drive the business, which will include customer relations programs and performance analytics and measures.
- Creates marketing campaigns for products & services through technical literature, newsletters, brochures, electronics & social media. Develops strategy and tactics to effectively reach potential customers using qualified leads, tracks, analyzes and reports the outcome.
- Gathers market intelligence through customer visits and market research to develop and execute new concepts, new approaches, and new creative marketing campaigns to position company as an innovator and leader in life sciences products.
- Complies with all applicable company's policies including health, safety, and environmental policies.

SKILLS :
EDUCATION :
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in biological science or business related with at least one year of sales experience in bioscience research products.
