- Number of Beds – 7
- Number of Staff – 4 night nurses on staff currently
- Shift for the Traveler — Night Shift
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech
- Night Shift – 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech
- Patient Ratios – 1:3 variable by census and acuity
- Type of equipment – GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vac., Koala IUPC
- EMR – Epic and CPN connect
- On Call Requirements: 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule
- Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing
Skill Set Most Recruited For
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Must have OR circulator experience
- Must have Labor and delivery experience
- Perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE
- Be stork nurse and transition baby at delivery
- Induction, C-Section, Vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions and bilateral tubal ligation
- Triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, IUFD care
- Flexible, Cheerful, Positive, team player, quick learner, accountable, adaptable, mentor
- AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification, NRP,ACLS, BLS
- If needed would float to Mom-Baby unit
- Scrub Color/Attire – Hospital provided royal blue scrubs (would change in the facility)
- No elective pre 39 week deliveries, Pitocin Protocol, HTN and PP hemorrhage protocols, malignant hyperthermia protocols
- Level II NICU with onsite pediatric hospitalists
