The Consumables Engineering Intern is responsible for designing Cepheid’s consumable components, ensuring manufacturability, and verifying functional performance as components are assembled into Cartridges
This onsite position is part of the greater Manufacturing Engineering Team and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
- Qualify new injection molded parts
- Conduct design of experiments to characterize consumables
- Learn about the life cycle and manufacturing of medical devices
