As we are at the cutting edge of technological advancement, join us if you are willing to work with like-minded people to face the challenges posed by the new era of technology together.Key Responsibilities Support electrical design engineer with system design, integration and test / debug in PCBA level, module level and system level.Work with electrical design engineers and systems engineers to develop, implement and maintain test plans, procedures, report and test criteria for electrical, electro-optical and electro-mechanical sub-systems.Work with NPI team to design and develop automated test equipment including hardware and software for validation, verification and production testing.Work with various teams including FW / SW team, NPI team, validation team, systems team on validation of various functionalities and various issues related to electrical, electro-mechanical and / or electro-optical system.Participate in schematic review and layout review with electrical design engineers.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Familiar with various test equipment including high-speed digital o-scope, arbitrary waveform generator, pulse generator, power supplies, LCR meter, etc.Python for data collection and analysis, equipment control for automated data collection.MS office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.Design software and electrical simulation software.Experience in functional safety is a plus.Qualifications BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.3-5 years of experience.Excellent verbal / written communication skills.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Experience in overall electrical system architecture.Benefits Opportunities to work with strong industry leaders and opportunities to relocate to Silicon Valley.Competitive compensation package, including stock.Comprehensive employee benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and more.Paid time off and paid holidays.Bonus program eligibility.401k and FSA or HSA.Locations Cepton Headquarters – San Jose, CA.Some local on-site visits to key customers.Travel to regional customer sites and to support trade shows & conferences if needed.Cepton is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
