Mint Cannabis Budtender-Mesa

General Summary:  Patient Service Representatives are responsible for guiding patients through the process of understanding, selecting and purchasing products, such as flower, concentrates, edibles and topicals. PSRs provide the highest level of customer service and possess high knowledge in the area of medical marijuana.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Basic administrative duties

• Operate the POS system to create or check in an account accurately in accordance with AZDHS guidelines.
• Answer phone calls and take messages

• Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with Mint standards and culture.

• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while exhibiting a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards colleagues, patients and vendors; represent Mint Core Values on customer service and industry relationships.

• Maintain a clean environment per AZDHS guidelines 

• Operate the POS system to process a transaction accurately in accordance with AZDHS guidelines. 

• Restock inventory as needed or directed by company management. 

• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Take direction and constructive criticism.   

• Accurate cash tendering and reconciliation
• Comply with all Inventory, Reconciliation, and Compliance guidelines. 
• Participates in ongoing education and professional development to provide individualized patient consultations in regards to the benefits and functions of products, method of preparation and how to use them to achieve the best results.
• Support management, and ensure sales quotas are reached while maintaining the positive and educational atmosphere that The Mint Cannabis strives to achieve and preserve. 
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Possess knowledge about cannabis products and how they function as medicine.

• 1-3 years experience in a retail/customer service environment.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
• Retail, cash handling, and Point-Of-Sale experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills.
• Must be 21 years old and pass a criminal State and Federal background check.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to collaborate with a team.
• High level of integrity and reliability.
• Open availability (nights and weekends and all holidays are required).
