Backend Engineer - Python/AWS

Must have:

a. AWS or Native Cloud experience

b. Python - API development

c. Some sort of event-based development- Appsync or Graph QL

d. GEN AI

We are Looking for a Developer, that specializes in Python. They need to understand AWS and be developing in an AWS environment. They will be doing API development from scratch and Event driven services from scratch. They want someone that has been doing some GEN AI work as well because their team has done this.

This is a senior role where the person can be an individual contributor, not data engineering or modelling work.

Full End to end work. Will be asked to gather requirement, design the solution, developing the solution, testing the solution, and prepping for deployment in an AWS environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and own the design and implementation of a proactive intelligence platform backend, focusing event-driven feature and API design and development. 5 years in the same domain is required.

Provide expertise and guidance during the project execution.

Expertise on EDA concepts, AWS event sourcing pattern, Asynchronous communication patterns and APIs.

Expertise with AWS Cloud Services (IAM, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway), CI/CD, API Testing, AWS event services

Knowledge of GraphQL, API management platform, API Frameworks

Stage of the project:

Have a POC version. Its already in pilot, live with client, but needs to scale.

RDS, AWS, SNS, APPSync, GraphQL, (event driven services), Temporal, Most of the code is in Python.

Very integrated with Amazon Q and Q Copilot, heavy using Gen AI.

In her mind, first sprint will be understanding the business use case and architecture, 2, 3, 4 sprint, will be API and event driven from scratch development. 5, 6,7,8, knowledge transfer and fine tuning

Create stuff from scratch

Proactive Intelligence Platform- add service on top of One data platform. Signals you can capture in the data.

NudgeData- Proactively captures patterns in the data and send it to the relevant data. Lets other teams leverage the signals they need.

Build this on top of AWS.
