Position: Hogan Consultant (only W2 )
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking candidates with experience in IDZ and GitHub, specifically with Hogan CIS, DDA, TDA, PAS, ODS, memo posts, mobile banking, API, and streaming Hogan.
Position Details:
- Remote is OK for all these roles
- Project Summary: Working on the Edward Jones Alliance for Hogan CIS.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and move code across environments.
- Conduct end-to-end cross-application testing.
- Anthony has prior experience in all required areas and has worked with Hogan CIS in the past, making his skillset a perfect fit for our needs.
Required Skills/Technologies:
- 10 years of Hogan mainframe system experience.
Preferred Skills/Attributes:
- Extensive experience in Hogan mainframe, preferably Hogan CIS.
Interview Process:
- Rounds: 2 rounds.
- Round 1: Discussion about the candidate.
- Round 2: Technical experience perspective.
- Format: All interviews will be conducted over the phone.
- Technical Level: 1 technical interview.
Primary Duties:
- Focus on hands-on development, testing, and application design.
- Substantial knowledge of Hogan applications (e.g., Hogan Deposits, Hogan RPM, Hogan CIS, Hogan Umbrella, Hogan PAS, Hogan ODS, Hogan CAMS).
- Extensive knowledge of Hogan's process dictionary components and PCDs, with involvement in conversions, development, or implementation of new Hogan system releases.
- Superior problem-solving capabilities and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Coding experience in CICS/VSAM and/or IMS/DB2, COBOL II, Easytrieve, JCL, MVS operating system, Expeditor, Endeavor, and/or Changeman source managers.
- Responsible for JCL, programming, testing, conversion monitoring, and verification.
- Developed and enhanced front-end support methodology for Business Analysts.
- Design, develop, install, test, and document complex application software at client product installations.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components.
- Experience with software design, software development life cycle, and development methodologies and implementation.
- Experience in Hogan Core Banking Applications.
- Good knowledge of Hogan concepts: Hogan Umbrella, PEM, CDMF, Librarian, Logical Environments, Hogan Abend Identification, and fixing both online and batch.
- Mainframe skills: COBOL, VSAM, and JCL.
Mainframe tools: Easytrieve, SORT Utilities, ICTOOL.
