The Wires Processing system, NSP Copestar, is being upgraded to support Federal Reserve and SWIFT's requirement to send, receive, and process payment messages in the ISO 20022 format. Our team inherited a desktop .NET application with built-in automation tasks to screen scrape information via the user's access to the NSP Copestar 'OutsideView' program interface.
With the upgrade, the OutsideView program is transitioning to the Bintang browser-based user interface to enable the view of expanded fields from the new ISO 20022 standard. The scope of the work task is to determine a feasible technical solution and then rewrite or update impacted automation tasks in the desktop .NET application.
