Title: Snowflake Cloud Database Consultant
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (3 days' on-site/hybrid required)
Duration: 6 Months -Contact to Hire (candidate's must be able to convert with no current or future sponsorship requirements)
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Provide development effort for projects like Datamart's, Client Analytics.
Administrate Snowflake accounts and support Snowflake control plane to enable Snowflake tenants workloads.
Work in an Agile methodology to provide expertise and share the best software development practices with the team.
Collaborate with product owners, quality engineers and cross functional teams to provide solutions and solve design and architectural problems.
Ability to do quick proof of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features
Required Skills:
BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Expertise on Snowflake is a must and should be able to administrate Snowflake DB and should know Snowflake Information metadata schemas and Snowflake internals.
CI/CD DevOps and work experience with Gitlab and automation.
Integrate snowflake with different BI tools.
Strong SQL experience.
Distributed cloud services (preferably Azure).
Distributed data loading (Kafka, Snowpark, and Spark).
Working knowledge of relational and in-memory databases: Oracle, Vertica, and Hazelcast.
Must be well versed with authentication and authorization in cloud services.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Nice to haves:
AI/ML experience
Financial Domain knowledge.
