Position Summary
The DBA - Mid Level develops, implements, administers, and maintains policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes. Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues.
Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Experience in MySQL, Oracle, or DB2 is required.

- Participate in SQL Lifecycle Management projects and activities
- Develops, implements, administers, and maintains policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database.
- Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes.
- Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues.
- Work with application owners and stakeholders to successfully migrate 2012-2014 SQL servers to Azure
- 4-6 years of experience with SQL Database Administration
- Familiar with standard MS SQL DB and server concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Prior experience migrating MS SQL Servers to Azure
