The CERIS Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department including Personnel Hiring, Quality Assurance of Product, Workflow, Maintaining the tracking of and accountability of staff regarding production standards and department expectations. Works collaboratively with other department managers to achieve departmental requirements and goals.This is a hybrid position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure timely and accurate communication of information, in written and electronic forms, that are directed to internal company contacts, clients and providersResponsible for directing a designated group of employees in their day-to-day operationsResponsible for monitoring quality control of results per employee as well as the entire unit overallResponsible for ensuring Metrics are in compliance dailyResponsible for tracking and reporting of department metrics to Director of Operations on a monthly basis or as requiredHandles scheduling and monitoring of staff's attendanceEnsures timely distribution of claims to designated staff to meet Client SLA'sResponsible for human resources matters directly related to department supervised. I.e. Interviewing, Hiring, Training and addressing personnel issues. Reports any issues to Operations Manager when necessaryResponsible for ensuring evaluations are completely on timeRequires regular and consistent attendance in houseComply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)Maintain HIPAA compliance policiesMay be required to travel overnight and attend meetingsMay perform daily, weekly, monthly reviews of various reports, invoices, logs and expensesAdditional duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS : Must have good computer and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite, mainly Outlook, Excel, WordGood organizational skills and ability to multitaskDetail Oriented The ability to work independently, as well as, with a teamThe ability to work in a fast paced / production based environmentEffective communication with othersEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : Associates degree, national certification or equivalentMinimum 5 years office experiencePrevious Supervisory experience preferredPAY RANGE : CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors : federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time. For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
