What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Configuration Analyst position at Cerner Corporation?

As a Lead Configuration Analyst here at Cerner, you will configure systems for external client project implementations. You will also complete complex system configurations independently, serve as an escalation point and deliver resolution for complex reported configuration issues and consult with all project stakeholders on the impact data collection has on configuration and configuration readiness. You will also proactively identify and establish new process improvements and drive adoption across the larger team. Finally, you will define and communicate design and content best practices to internal project stakeholders and consult on the impact of design decisions and content recommendations and coach and mentor other Configuration Analysts and provide educational opportunities and training as needed.

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education
    • At least 1 year of application or system configuration, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
