Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming parts and accessory shipments, ensuring that products are accurately received, inspected, and stored properly. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Utilize POS systems to track inventory levels and manage costs.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move products safely within the property.
- Perform order picking and packing duties as needed to prepare items for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Parts team to coordinate shipping of parts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct basic math calculations for inventory management and order processing.
Skills
- Experience with any management systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and packing.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in shipments.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
