Description
Overview:
The Quality Assurance Analyst – IT is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and compliance of IT systems within the pharmacy benefits space. This role involves reviewing products for defects, validating system performance, and ensuring regulatory and HIPAA compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance within a PBM or healthcare IT environment, with a strong focus on user expectations and system integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Review & Testing:
- Conduct detailed testing and validation of IT systems to identify defects and deficiencies.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with developers and IT teams to resolve identified issues.
- Regulatory & HIPAA Compliance:
- Ensure all systems and processes comply with HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct compliance audits and documentation reviews to maintain adherence to industry standards.
- User Experience & Expectations:
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure IT solutions meet business and user needs.
- Validate that system updates, enhancements, and releases align with user expectations.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve usability and system performance.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in quality assurance, IT testing, or software validation (PBM experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, compliance standards, and healthcare IT systems.
- Experience with QA methodologies, test automation, and defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, compliance, and business teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
