Summary
The Proposal Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing all RFI/RFP opportunities requiring formal responses, collaborating with the sales team to craft tailored proposals that showcase CerpassRx's product solutions and align with client needs. This role ensures compliance with RFP requirements, prepares persuasive written responses, coordinates with underwriting to develop pricing documents, and manages the timely submission of all deliverables.
The Proposal Analyst will be instrumental in demonstrating how CerpassRx is transforming pharmacy services to improve health outcomes and reduce costs through innovative offerings in pharmacy benefit management (PBM), mail-order, specialty pharmacy, and retail pharmacy services. In addition to managing all phases of the PBM proposal process, the Proposal Analyst will ensure content accuracy, lead strategy discussions with stakeholders, and oversee the customization of client-specific content to create compelling proposals.
This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will work both independently and collaboratively while developing a deep understanding of PBM offerings, sales strategies, and company services.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of proposals, from project initiation to final submission, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and internal standards.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop accurate, client-centric responses for RFPs.
- Utilize and maintain a database of SME-reviewed content to respond to RFP questions effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinate with underwriting to finalize accurate and competitive pricing documents.
- Organize kick-off meetings, facilitate proposal reviews, and drive collaboration among contributors.
- Prepare and submit final proposal documents, adhering to strict client-driven deadlines.
- Oversee proposal production and ensure timely delivery in both digital and physical formats.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews to ensure consistency, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
- Maintain and enhance a centralized database of RFP responses for streamlined access and updates.
- Continuously refine RFP templates and implement innovative strategies to improve proposal quality.
- Proofread and edit materials to ensure clarity, impact, and alignment with client expectations.
- Contribute to team initiatives, including process improvements and cross-functional projects.
- Perform all duties with professionalism, independent judgment, and effective communication.
- Take on additional special projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Location & Travel
This position offers flexible work arrangements: candidates may work in the DFW area near CerpassRx offices in The Colony, Texas, or remotely. Remote employees may need to travel up to 15% for meetings and project needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Content Writing Expertise: Proven ability to produce high-quality written materials, including persuasive, client-focused RFP responses. Strong skills in content strategy and tailoring communication to specific audiences.
- Database Management: Experience in maintaining and organizing proposal content databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility for future projects. Familiarity with tools like Qvidian or similar platforms is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience writing RFPs, with a minimum of 2 years in the healthcare or pharmacy benefits management (PBM) industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Project Management: Demonstrated project management expertise and familiarity with proposal lifecycle best practices.
- Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, syntax, and formatting.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deadline Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
