Nature of Work
The Campus Recruiter plays a key role in executing recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent from colleges and universities. Ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with internship experience eager to build a career in talent acquisition, this role focuses on ensuring a seamless candidate experience, collaborating with internal teams, and managing logistics for campus recruitment programs, events, and initiatives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Recruitment Support
- Post job openings on internal and external job boards and social media platforms.
- Manage the entire campus recruitment process to include screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, coordinating hiring team interviews, preparing and negotiating offers, and supporting pre-employment processes.
Campus Recruitment Logistics
Schedule and coordinate on-campus recruitment events, including career fairs, information sessions, and networking events.Manage event logistics, including venue booking, material preparation and logistics, and technology setup.Identify and liaise with university key career service personnel to maintain strong relationships and secure participation in key events.Candidate Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth experience.Collaboration with Stakeholders
Work closely with hiring managers and university relations teams to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.Maintain strong partnerships with university representatives, faculty, and student organizations to enhance brand visibility.Data Management and Reporting
Track and manage applicant data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).Compile recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on the success of campus initiatives.Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.Brand Promotion
Represent the organization at campus events to promote internship and entry-level opportunities.Support employer branding efforts by coordinating with internal marketing teams to create and distribute marketing materials, such as flyers, brochures, and social media content, targeting university audiences.Internship Program Support
Assist in the planning, development, and execution of the internship program to attract top talent from universities.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand internship role requirements and ensure alignment with team needs.Coordinate internship recruiting events, such as career fairs, information sessions, and webinars to promote the program.Serve as the primary point of contact for interns, addressing any questions or concerns during the recruitment process.Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal, organizational skills, and multitasking skills.Detail oriented with a focus on quality results / deliverables.Outstanding client service focus.Basic knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to be self-guided and motivated, working to complete tasks thoroughly and requesting assistance, when necessary.A desire to work in a fast-paced, high caliber and dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with recruitment practices, screening techniques, and employment laws.Experience with social media recruiting or employer branding.Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college / university or equivalent experience.Internship / prior work experience in Human Resources or Event Planning required.Physical Demands and Working Environment
Work is conducted in a standard office setting with a requirement to be on-site five days a week.This position is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work.
