What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Shift Boiler Operator position at Cersosimo Lumber Company, Inc.?
Successful candidate will be trained to maintain and operate a 600 hp wood waste boiler and maintain accurate records and logs. After trained the employee will be expected to operate and maintain the boiler including performing preventative maintenance properly and safely. Boiler Operators at this Cersosimo Lumber location are expected to help with some lumber production including stacking and piling lumber as needed. Candidate must be able to:
-wear required personal protective equipment including safety toe boots and hearing protection for the duration of the shift
-work up to 12 hours independently
-climb ladders safely
-utilize catwalks for access to various areas of the boiler room
-lift 50 lbs using good body mechanics.
