Industrial Maintenance Technician

Saint-Gobain has an immediate employment opportunity in Holly Springs, MS, for an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This is an opportunity to become part of a family-friendly team, in an expanding company, with room for advancement.

Job Location: Holly Springs, MS

Shift Available: 3rd; Monday-Friday, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Compensation: $28.00-$32.00, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair production machines and plant equipment
• Able to read schematics and PLCs along with troubleshooting 2 & 3 phase motors
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
• Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Detect faulty operations, and defective material, and report any unusual situations to the Supervisor
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) is required
• 5 years of Mechanical, Maintenance, and Electrical education or 10 years of experience
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
• Must be able to use basic tools and perform repairs
