Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget, in collaboration with clients and general contractors.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing project updates, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Management: Monitor project finances, including expenses, hours, and material costs, to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise painting crews, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to assess workmanship quality and compliance with project requirements, making adjustments as necessary to ensure high-quality results.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, and provide regular updates to clients.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards, and address any non-compliance issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements, implementing best practices to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of construction management is required!
- 5 years of commercial painting experience is preferred!
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
