Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to validate web applications.Plan, execute, and document test strategies for new and existing features, ensuring comprehensive coverage.Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify test scenarios.Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in automated test scripts and frameworks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in the software development lifecycle.Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster feedback loops.Track, report, and verify bugs using issue-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in software testing and automation.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on best practices in test automation.Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including 3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright or similar tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript / TypeScript for scripting automated tests.Experience in testing web applications, APIs, and user interfaces in various environments and browsers.Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Circle CIHands-on experience with CI / CD tools and processes.Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Strong commitment to working as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications
