Responsibilities of Senior Manager Emerging Technologies, Product Management
Senior Manager Emerging Technologies, Product Management is a leadership role in the Certara Predictive Technologies division. This role is part of a functional team whose work encompasses product strategy, product delivery, product management, and product operations.
The successful candidate for this role will have a deep knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry and the Drug Development Pipeline. They will possess leadership and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and customers from sponsor organizations, CROs, and regulatory bodies. The individual will be comfortable working with a cross-functional team of scientists, developers, and application experts to apply new technologies to address pharmaceutical challenges at the preclinical phase including implementation of AI tools and other emerging trends and innovation.
Responsibilities and Expectations include :
- Assess the industry landscape to understand where and how emerging technologies can be implemented to ensure the greatest benefit for current and future customers
- Identify areas of anticipated significant change and develop a strategy and plan to address these changes, ensuring that the challenges can be overcome and the solution successfully delivered
- Accountable for decision-making, problem solutions, and business outcomes
- Work with cross-functional internal teams effectively
- Serve as subject matter expert and thought leader for the implementation of emerging technologies
- Work with scientists and developers to gather and articulate new requirements
- Articulate project priorities for implementation of emerging technologies
- Understand the business goals for project delivery
- Recommend an effective pricing strategy to accommodate incorporation of new technologies
- Articulate and promote new business opportunities
