Requirements:Position Summary
The Femrite Warehouse Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and safety while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This position requires a highly experienced warehouse professional with a proven track record in operations management, team leadership, and process optimization.
Key responsibilities include strategic oversight of perishable inventory, workforce supervision, and operational improvements to support organizational goals and customer service excellence. The Warehouse Manager will be expected to provide strong leadership, mentorship, and direction to warehouse staff, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
Given the complexity of this role, candidates must possess extensive experience in warehouse management, logistics, and distribution, along with a deep understanding of workflow optimization, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Job Functions
- Direct and oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and sanitation
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of supervisors, clerks, and warehouse employees to achieve safety, productivity and customer service targets
- Coordinate workflows and daily activities to optimize warehouse space and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment
- Enforce policies and procedures related to handling, shipping, and storage, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations
- Assist in controlling warehouse operating expenses i.e. Warehouse hours and overtime monitoring
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and ensure proper upkeep of equipment
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction
- Navigate employee relations, including initiating appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary
- Communicate critical production details to the Director of Warehousing and fellow shift leaders to ensure seamless operations
- Execute additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Warehousing
- Be regular in attendance and comply with the Company Attendance Policy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and customers
- Ability to work independently and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office suite
- Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, fax and copy machine
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of related warehouse management experience
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
- Experience working with powered industrial equipment is a plus
- D.O.T. and Logistics experience is strongly preferred
- Managing in a union environment is strongly preferred
