Key Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test cases and procedures based on specifications.
Conduct testing of new applications and perform repeatable testing on existing products.
Ensure product releases meet or exceed established quality standards.
Participate in iterative development and release management within an Agile Scrum environment.
Collaborate with business analysts, development teams, and other stakeholders to meet customer requirements.
Attend design reviews and user meetings as needed.
Document test cases, track defects, and maintain test execution records.
Perform system integration, functional, volume, user interface, and performance testing for modifications and enhancements using both manual and automated methods.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
Analyze automated test script failures and successes, making necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
5–7 years in software quality assurance with a focus on web-based application testing.
3 years working with Windows operating systems and related applications.
Extensive experience (5 years) in creating test cases, writing test plans, and using QA tools such as Azure DevOps TFS, Selenium WebDriver with C#, and SQL-related tools.
3 years of experience in UI and API performance testing using tools like JMeter (preferred for majority tasks) or equivalent, and functional API testing using tools like Postman.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to-end testing, and acceptance testing.
Strong knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile Scrum, and experience with documentation and process creation.
Experience with version control systems and defect tracking tools.
Additional Skills:
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting business priorities.
Capability to analyze and present defect metrics data through verbal communication and written reports.
