This position is with One Call, 365 - a subsidiary of the parent company Certi-Dry (UIG).
One Call provides safe, reliable, and cost-effective hazardous waste material management and removal services throughout the state of Wisconsin. We are a remediation contractor for federal, state, and local agencies and private sector clients. Our services include environmental cleaning (mold, silica, asbestos, and lead), hazardous abatement, and interior and exterior construction demo.

What is the primary function of this position? The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and direct daily operations of assigned asbestos abatement teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within safety and quality standards. The Crew Chief supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in removing asbestos from ceilings, walls, floors, and other structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews job specifications, inspects work site before work begins each day, throughout the day , and at the end of the day prior to leaving the job site
- Assigns and supervises workers in specific tasks, such as setup of equipment and removal and clean-up of asbestos
- Monitors and inspects quality of work during project
- Examine workers' equipment, such as respirator systems, air evacuation and filtration systems, and air quality testing devices, to ensure that they meet company and government safety standards
- May assist workers in removal activities
- Must maintain project records and request supplies as needed if not standard
- Must ensure and often monitor that abatement requirements and quality of work are always used and maintained before, during and after abatement
- Frequent effective Communication with PM and Sales/Estimator and clients with updates
Required Skills:
- 2-5 years’ relevant experience
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, portraying a high degree of professionalism
- Bilingual (English and Spanish strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated assertiveness and self-confidence
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet time sensitive deadlines and organize workload with general supervision
- High level attention to detail with demonstrated critical thinking skills
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 43 per week
