Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Vehicle Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles entering and leaving our facility. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented, and maintains a sense of urgency. You must be easy going and able to get along well with others in sometimes strssful situations as well as have time managment and initiative to perform job duties with minmal management supervision. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our dealership runs smoothly by managing vehicle inventory and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Duties
- Greet customers as they arrive and assist them with their needs.
- Manage the parking lot by organizing and maintaining the flow of vehicles.
- Drive vehicles to and from the service area, ensuring they are parked safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries and pick-ups as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register.
- Provide support to sales staff by preparing vehicles for test drives.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot area to enhance the overall customer experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with guests and address their needs.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and confidently.
- Experience in a dealership or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings.
- Experience in hospitality or guest services can be an asset.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or valet parking attendant is a plus.
