Babysitter

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, including infant and toddler care, and possess the ability to educate and engage children in various activities. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about fostering a safe and stimulating atmosphere for children while supporting working parents.

Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and engage children in educational and recreational activities.
• Provide age-appropriate care, including feeding, bathing, and dressing infants and toddlers.
• Assist with homework and educational projects for older children.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's needs, progress, and any concerns.
• Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies calmly.
• Support children with disabilities by providing tailored care as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in daycare or babysitting roles is preferred.
• Strong background in caring for children of various ages, particularly infants and toddlers.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to educate children through play-based learning activities.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
• Reliable transportation to travel to families' homes as needed.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate parents' work hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
