Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) is currently seeking an experienced Vintage World Coin Grader! Qualified candidates will display a high level of accuracy, integrity, self-motivation, and comfort working within a team environment. Selected candidates will sit alongside NGC graders and be trained in its grading and authentication methodologies.
Part of the Certified Collectibles Group (CCG), NGC is the industry’s leading and largest third-party coin grading service. Required knowledge and skills
- Minimum 5 years of technical numismatic knowledge and professional experience
- 4-year college degree or work experience equivalent
- Ability to grade coins by using the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale
- Experience in variety attribution and authentication
- Knowledge of various eras of minting techniques, metal alloys, and numismatic bibliography
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business functions
