Certified Dispensary - Dispensary Security and Budtender

Position Overview
Dispensary security is responsible for the exterior and interior protection of the building, staff and patrons. Security also directs customers/patients through the purchasing steps while inside the building.

Dispensary Budtender provides guidance and education to each patient with medical and non-medical marijuana needs. Budtenders assist every patient and customer in finding the product for their specific need.

Major Areas of Security Responsibility include:

• Patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access to premises by verifying identification
• Responding to emergencies, investigating suspicious behavior, reporting incidents to management and ensuring compliance with security protocols
• Maintaining a vigilant presence to protect property and personnel.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for Security:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Security Experience

Major Areas of Budtender Responsibility include:

• Provide patients with educational information for product selection.
• Confirms patient purchase limits prior to admission into the consultation area.
• Provide Exceptional Customer Care by promoting and maintaining positive customer relations.
• Respond to calls or emails from customers requesting product, training, and general information.
• Management of patient records using an MMJ database
• Dispensing of products using Dutchie POS.
• Fulfillment of customer orders.
• Build and maintain a high level of integrity and trust for specific products

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for Budtender:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Knowledge of medical marijuana products related to qualifying medical conditions.
• Two years of direct customer service experience required.
• Retail, Restaurant, or Hospitality experience
• Understanding of and experience with Microsoft Office

Experience and Education:
High School Diploma is required.

Background Check:
As a condition of employment, all employees are required to submit to a FBI/BCI background check. Employment decisions, in compliance with state law, were based on an employee’s background report at the time of hire. In compliance with the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program all employees of the Company who encounter or handle medical marijuana, including medical marijuana products, shall be subject to a fingerprinting process as part of a criminal history background check in compliance with the procedures established by Division of Criminal Justice Services.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
