Job Description Job DescriptionPrestigious law firm seeks a Legal Talent Coordinator to help with their recruiting and professional development needs. Hybrid position in Palo Alto, CA. $63,700 - $89,500 Non-Exempt (Dependent on experience). Schedule : 9 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm PT.QUALIFICATIONS : Highly organized with strong attention to detail; proofreads accurately, efficiently, and dependably.Exercises confidentiality, discretion, and good judgment; demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills.Balances competing priorities and works effectively under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines despite frequent interruptions.Works collaboratively as part of a team while showing self-motivation, ownership, and initiative.Available to work additional hours, particularly from April through August.A college degree, strongly preferred.LEGAL RECRUITING DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Provides administrative support to the Legal Recruiting department.Helps organize and manage the Summer Associate Program, including tracking pre-arrival details, drafting notices, scheduling orientations and interviews, creating nametags, and coordinating events and training.Assists with all on-campus interview processes, such as program registrations, resume collections, job fairs, maintaining files, and scheduling interviews.Monitors the general Legal Recruiting email account daily, fielding emails as appropriate.Organizes lateral associate and judicial clerk applications, including preparing summaries of candidates for hiring partner review.Maintains legal recruiting database (viRecruit), and all candidate files.Prepares all department correspondence to potential candidates.Coordinates payments associate hires, including bar, clerkship, moving / travel expenses, and candidate travel costs.Performs other duties as assigned.PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Manage records on California associates (e.g. attrition data, leaves of absence, mentoring, etc.).Coordinate scheduling, registration, and logistics for California-based Professional Development training programs (e.g., facilities, food, and technology).Support the administration of associate and counsel evaluations, including tracking completion, scheduling meetings, and delivering evaluations to attorneys.Assist with mentoring initiatives and integration programs.Ensure confidentiality, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive firm and client information.Our client is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in any aspect of employment, including hiring, salary, promotion, discipline, termination, and benefits, on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, age, marital status, sexual orientation, family responsibility, disability (including physical handicap), or any other improper criterion.Our client will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment in accordance with applicable laws, including the California Fair Chance Act, the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Fair Chance Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance, and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
