Objectives:
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles effectively.
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the customer service team to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in diesel technicians.
Competencies:
Knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components, coupled with excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in computerized diagnostic tools and software systems used in diesel technician operations.
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of diesel repair experience required
Current State Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record required
Relevant Master Certifications and licenses in diesel mechanics or related fields.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing or walking
Ability to work in enclosed environments exposed to excessive noise, automotive shop environment, and cold or heat
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
