Architectural metal & glass estimating
Projects up to 3mm
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to understand project scope, design specifications, and construction requirements.
Conduct thorough reviews of project plans, blueprints, and technical documents to extract relevant information for cost estimation.
Analyze project components, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead, to accurately determine overall project costs.
Utilize industry-specific software and tools to create detailed and comprehensive cost estimates, considering factors such as construction methods, labor rates, material prices, and market trends.
Research and gather data on construction material costs, subcontractor bids, and other relevant expenses to ensure accurate cost projections.
Prepare clear and detailed cost breakdowns, cost summaries, and bid proposals for submission to clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
Collaborate with the procurement team to source and evaluate material and subcontractor quotes, negotiating favorable terms whenever possible.
Continuously monitor and assess the accuracy of cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle, making adjustments as necessary due to design changes, scope modifications, or unforeseen circumstances.
Stay updated on industry trends, market fluctuations, and technological advancements that could impact construction costs and methodologies.
Participate in post-project evaluations to compare estimated costs to actual costs, identifying areas for improvement and refining future estimates.
Maintain a repository of historical cost data, estimating templates, and reference materials to support consistent and accurate estimating practices.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
